Hello, my speedometer on my TS is showing 10 km/h wrong. When I measured it with a gps I only got up to 50 km/h derestricted but the bike said I was going 60 km/h:( Does someone else have this problem or have had it and what can I do about it?

You're correct. The Super Soco speedometers indicate a certain percentage higher than the actual speed. The difference is small at low speeds and increases to about 10 km/h at top speed. When I zip past a radar speed sign at "70", it indicates around 60.

I'm sure it's deliberate. It's what lets them claim that the top speed is 70 km/h when it's much slower.

No speedometer is really 100% accurate

Putting a larger tire on it actually helps to lower the gap. But yeah. I use waze on a handlebar mount and the GPS speed is far more accurate

By regulations, speedometers can have 10% deviation. This is pretty standard internationally. Because of this, most bikes are made to be up to 10% over, to obviously look like higher speeds. This isn't unique to soco's, but actually pretty standard across motorcycles and the reason one of the first mods many motorcycle riders buy is a SpeedoHealer.

@sdreaver SS TC speedo is off by 20 -22 % (checked with speed traps) on standard tires... than's so you can reach claimed "70"km/h unrestricted max speed. IRL it's 55... Restricted bike won't reach 45km/h only 35 - 36... So if you thinking you are riding 60 or 70 on the rode with this speed limit... it's not true, and it's dangerous.

This is pissing me off... SuperSoco is lying and cheating in worse fashion. Bike don't have 3kW. In homologation after the test, power output is stated as 1.9kW - probably constant output... 3kW is impossible as controller can provide max 2,4kW only :/
