Hello Everyone,

So i finally have my bike back after 9 months in the garage repairing damage from being stolen and ripped apart. The process took longer than it should have due to super soco having a terrible parts ordering system leading to long delays.

Anyway i have it back and it seems to now refuse to power up with the start/stop button. The button lights up but pressing it give me nothing. I think there must have been water ingress for the switch due to it spending a week in the rain and cold.

Does anyone have a service manual or can point me in the direction of a video or something that will assist me in taking it part so i can test my water ingress theory?

thanks

Hi,

The issue occurs if you have an ODB2 device plugged into the ODB2 port.

The only way to resolve this is by unlocking and tapping start at exactly the same time without anything plugged into the port.

I can only assume that ODB2 port is for alarm diagnostics/programming and other features.

Hope this helps someone having this issue.

@devian You had any luck with your power issue? Are you able to do diagnostics check via the app?

@lhk The issue is fixed now. I asked my brother to reply as he cause the problem in the first place by plugging in his odb reader. He left the last reply.

I didn't really try the diagnostics on the app.

thank

@devian

Good to hear it’s fixed. Out of interest was there any useful information you were able to get off the obd reader?

@lhk no my brother plugged it in in the hopes of doing so but it wouldn't communicate and ended up diabling the bike with the problem i created this post for. It seems like the ODB is used for transit/programming purposes  (for maybe new remotes) by the dealer.
