Hi,

I use my bike to comute about 25 miles a day. I can drive about 43 miles with 1 charge this in mixed stands mostly 2 or 3.

In 1 I can drive about 28 mph in 2 about 40 and 3 I reached max 56 mph. I am 1m 83 and weigh 76 kg.

For me it would be ideal if 1 and 2 were 3 miles higher, because now i am slowing down the traffic a bit.

From 0 I get a better top speed and sadly when driving already the acceleration lacks a bit. Not the same power as when I accelerate from 0.

All have been driven in cold weather 11 °c max.

But all in all for a 3 kw motor and the price I am more than happy.

Would certainly recommend the bike to anyone who is interested in buying a light electric bike.

@stikmetaal Hi, if you start with 100% charge and then ride 25 miles, what % is the battery down to?

@ewayfarer Hi, yesterday I still had 46% battery left. That's why it would be useful for me if it just rides a little bit faster in 1 and 2. Then I wouldn't need the 3. Would save a lot off battery. Thinking once it is our off warranty to install a slightly bigger pulley on the motor. Will have less acceleration but a higher top speed. Or is the speed limited by software?

@stikmetaal - this temp hits down power. Up to my last year experiences - you loose around 15-20% in cold weather.Things get better close to 20C. Today I have same temp and as streets are rather empty - I had just a relaxing ride at 65-70 km/h max.

In warmer days i may reach 80-85 km/h. But I am much biger then you so no fuurther magic can be ordered to this engine. Anway - it is pretty enough for everyday ride to work. ;-]

@docweyr Yesterday I hit about 90 very shortley. Ofcourse ass on the back of the seat and chest flat on the tank. I installed a smalle screen and removed the passenger footrests. Every bit counts 😋. I don't know if it's in my head but the screen helps a little bit, less direct wind.

I Will try once to hit the top speed without my backpack.

I'm not an electrician, but we can expect battery sag as voltage works its way from top voltage to low. The controller limits amps not volts. So as voltage drops so does available amps at each setting. Level 1, I get 60km plus down to about 70% charge, then 55km max continues through remainder of battery. I'm no slim Jim at 125kg. The bike is so much fun to ride. Enjoy
