I've had my TC Max for more than 2 years now and the seat really is pretty uncomfortable. I went to a local upholsterer and he suggested either putting a bit more foam in but keep the original seat cover or he suggested putting more much more foam in and replacing the seat cover.
Has anyone been able to improve the comfort of the seat but keep it for 2 people?

Your upholsterer is correct. But you can choose almost any seat fabric.
There are replacement overstuffed seats available on superbuy.com
