Here it is - TCmax - one of the firsts ~50 in Poland arrived just a few days ago. 😉

Let ma share a few observations I have so far. Let's say - from 2 m tall man perspective. @;-)=

First contact.

It is defenetly well done. Looks really nice. Piece of good design and manufacture. Nice materials.

Disadvantages on preparation to ride? Yes, I share impression that charge cables should be longer or charger should have connector to plug longer 230V cable if needed. Moreover vehicle suspension / shock absorbers are much too soft for a bit more heavy (than expected 75 kg) rider. As I am tall - I would be happy to change handlebar for one with old TC for better position. Unfortunatelly brake cables are to short to allow just simple switch of a bar - I have conversation with dealer how we can meet my needs of change and warranty. Maybe - I will extend/replace mirrors for better back visibility.

In short - if you are over 180 cm - your sitting position is not optimal. But for driving from suburbs to work with some stops on taffic lights - I do not feel bad even with my 2 meters. Tuning would rise my comfort but is not a must be done now.

One more thing - there is no bluetooth module installed. I have even QR-code in my TC max book but I can just unlock app with it and nothing more. Sad... Any info about later installation? Or maybe some has in on own TC max?

Driving

It is fun. It accelerates pretty well even with me - again - bigger driver then standard. Yes, I share another opinions on forum - standard mode (2) is optimal in most city cases. I drive around 65 km/h in this mode. For suburbs however - when most people drive around 80-90 km/h - top mode 3 is needed. And this is why I bought TC max. I expected top speed 95 km/h to feel safe driving as trafiic goes. It is not nice to be slower than vans and trucks on narrow streets.

Here comes first confusion. I cannot exceed 80 km/h on straight road. I reached max 85 km/h down the calm hill. Question rises - is it lack of power? Or software limitation? As it acceretaes nicely to 80 km/h and formally - its load is 150 kg (I am below ;-), it looks like software problem. Moreover in some posts I could see here also top speed like 53 or sth MPH, so pretty close to my observations. Anyone exceeded 90 km/h or 56 MPH? Or reached catalogue 60 MPH?

Second confusion is connected with too soft suspension and trunk I got installed by dealer service - model from TC looked fine enough. But it cannot be used. It smashed my registration plate what I found on first stop. It goes in collision with it. I need to find some other solution or order custom, higher trunk grid for me.

Third problem so far was parking foot sensor which just broke on day 3 stopping me in a city. As Polish dealer is really responsive - it was repaired in 2 working days with local service. They have good support.

But a few first days of riding give pretty nice experience. It is quick enough for city traffic. It is silent. I like the possibility to keep charger "on board" just packed over acu on plastic tray. In mixed 2/3 mode drive with at last half of it in mode 3 and being big driver - I suppose real range will be around 60-70 km. As I have 40-50 km a day to drive - it is safe but requires charge every day.

As a tall rider - I also like it is a bit more heavy than TC.

Summary

I will defenetly think about some tuning to make my position a bit better. But first experience is pretty nice. Even a problem with sensor was fixed efficiently what is in plus for dealer and builds my comfort. I am happy that finally there is a motorbike in a market gap between city scooters and slower motorbikes (like TC) and much more expensive Zero etc, which btw have no dealers nor service in Poland. Good enough for driving from suburbs to work or school. 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I must say, I’m very happy with my TC and it really serves it’s purpose (commuting to work and it’s only 8km). On the other hand when I read the reviews and the possibilities of the TC max (speed) then I’m jealous 😂

And if you would have lives closeby I would have been more than happy to exchange my TC handlebar and brakelines with you. I’m going to switch mine to a TC max one 😉

Trade would be great. ;-]]

As I wrote - I have 18 km to my office from suburbs. TCmax was a target then, once announced. Sellers tried to push me months ago on buying TC before but I was like a stone. :-] I just know my road from home and speed needed to flow gentle with a traffic. And it was just right decision in general. Some part of my road I ride ~70-80 km/h. Effective range (60km+ for my profile of speed) is also safe  - just today I used 30% of battery to get to my office. So I have resonable reserve for additional driving durring a day if needed.

The only problem I still have is that I cannot reach formal max speed of 95 km/h. I am around 20% lower. And I am not sure it is a problem of my weight but rather controller. If it is solved - TC max would be perfect for my needs.

But yes - if nowadays anyone needs a bike for riding outside of city centres - I would recommend TCmax rather then TC. ;-p Maybe - try to switch. ;-]]
