Read review pressing Parking button down hill was a way to save energy as 1, 2 & 3 all have motor torque. Is this true

What are the safety implications in doing so, or is this a real plus?

There is officially NO regenerative braking on the Super Soco. So I also don't use some sort of tricks. My opinion in that regard is: you can only break stuff that way.
