Today I went for a service to my dealer and after the update the top speed was 15 km lower in derestricted mode, and in restricted mode it has a power and speed decline. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow because I'm not keeping up with the traffic. And it drains more energy from the battery. This makes me sad

Thanks a lot for the reply, the problem is fixed luckly. It was the wrong update, probably for a 25 km/h version that we have in the Netherlands. Now my TC is responding perfectly fine and gives me a nice smile. I drive it mostly in second shift, then it goes around 60 km/h max. I keep it around 55 km/h to keep up with the traffi

Hi did you get your update at la souris overtoom? When did you do it and what’s the difference with new update? What’s your range now

I did my update in Utrecht. I did it around 2 months ago.

The big difference is in the speed in mode 3. Range about the same.

(all on speedometer, TS)
Mode 1: 43 km/h
mode 2: 60 km/h
mode 3: 70 km/h

Same as  Oscar;

I sent my 2vvontrollers (one with broken seal) to be updated.

Very good result, I barely noticed any pause in drive.

Speeds:

Mode 1 40kmh

Mode 2 57kmh

Mode 3 70+kmh

I generally ride it in mode 2, just to stop me pushing the TC too far before the tyres are well scrubbed in and when I better understand how to ride it. Difficult after 51 years of riding geared motos with low unsprung weight. 😉

If someone in  like Spain would like to make me an offer for an upgraded controller with broken seal, upgrading done by Amperbikes in Málaga, Súper Soco main agent. A trustworthy company, unlike Jaipurmotor in Sevilla!

Is there any way for ordinary folk to get a hold of the software updates and an interface cable? I'd love to be able to manage the bike myself.

@cubeyterra

as far as I know that is not possible, the updates are sent to the dealers and the device you use can't be bought.

My 2 controllers were updated, €58 for the first, €20 for the second.

24 hour delivery each way, 3 days in total from removal to refitting.

Really worthwhile too.🤩

The latest on my heapofcrap TC:

In one year I have had to change: the controller, the right bar twist grip and electrics, the speedometer unit, the alarm unit and a code82 battery failure which was fixed at Amperbikes.

After sitting for 2 months in quarantine the battery was returned to me 2 weeks ago.   The TC ran better than it ever had.

Until this morning when the sidestand was retracted and the green P light stayed lit!

Another failure on a bike that has covered less than 1500kms!

Anyone want to make me an offer for it?
