Hello, newish here so this has probably been discussed at length....

Problem: Battery two acquired. Battery socket orientated unfavourably and fat power connecting cable's a bit short. Some have removed and spun the battery socket, but I wonder if this might scupper warranty.

Paralleler (on order) probably solves this. In the meantime, has anyone rerouted the fat (peachy) power cable within the frame so it can - just about - reach both battery sockets?

Gave it a go and hoping it's fine...

Removed the plastic battery compartment sides, pressed the clips and wiggled blue murder out of it, only to then discover it comes apart into 4 sides via easyish clips:

Once that's out you can see the state of play... 5-pin peachy battery cable wedged through a gap between frame and two panel screw lug protrusions, a panel support I didn't want to remove:

Had batteries charging on the side:

The tricky bit was getting the peachy cable's 5-pin plug back through the hole toward the front whence it came. After looking at it for too long, decided it would squeeze through with the help of a big leveraging screwdriver. Below you can see I've managed to squeeze it through and the cable hangs, defeated, below frame:

Pulled the plug end through a more favourable hole in the frame and reinserted the plastic battery compartment sides:

Batteries in, and cable now can (just) reach both points:

Tray needed modifying a small amount, I normally place a heavy chain there. Hacksaw job for me but sure there are more accurate plastic cutting things (dremel). An unnecessary section near the top needed cutting off but left the top outer edge in tact:

Done. Should work fine until the Paralleler arrives. I'll be looking to hide that under the right side panel. Hoping the extra battery weight of two batteries helps with the slightly unpredictable throttle response on move-off. Anyone noticed that it does? Will let you know.

Have good day.
