I am curious what the problem was, I also suspect that the cause of the tires lies. I have not used the brakes and have not used extra or less petrol. Even when I read other forum posts, it seems that the current tires are not good for the Dutch weather. I also think that the construction of the soco could have been better. In general, the first thing I am going to do is change the tires ...
One thing i do know in the video you see me move my left hand and that was the reaction when i slipped at that point i knew that i would fall! I was thinking i couldnt do anything anymore and prepaired myself for a fall!
My knee keeps getting better, also 2 bruised ribs are painful when I smile or cough hahaha ...
Become an expensive joke so all together!
Greets,
Christian
Hi Christian
As the others have mention the tires aren't the best as well as rainy weather ain't friend of two wheelers. I did fall similarly like you once, that was when I was accelerating with the throttle (I thought it was off) and then braking hard and as such I lost grip on my front wheel and feel like you did.
That's why you learn to first use the rear brake and then dive into the front brake when taking your motorcycle license.
I wouldn't think to much or overanalyze but just get on with my life and get better tires when the old ones are used up and my make my bike better as I go. I have only fallen with my bike a few times in the rain and never in snow. Never with the Soco but other rides.
Please post the videoÂ
I saw the video, I didn’t see it maybe because I’m on my iPhone.
but the main reason was because of oil on the road?
Wheel rims are heavy (as I tried lifting it). For the best experience, take bodyweight on your footrests when doing curves, turns. Better balanced and safe. Sit relaxed when going straight. A good workout on the feet this way.
