Hi! I've been wanting to modify and clean (the already very clean) CUx. Passengers on mopeds are not allowed in Norway, so I would like to remove the rear footrests. I've undone both bolts on both sides, but it doesn't seem to budge. Does anyone know how to get it off?

I had the same idea as you but actually found once i took the footrests off that the holes left behind looked worse than the foot pegs, so put them back on! If you could blank the holes nicely it would look OK, but not easy as the surrounding plastic is contoured.

The rear fixing on the peg is a straight forward and sits against the frame, but on the front the peg goes over a square tapered section on the frame, much like a bicycle crank arm on a square taper bottom bracket, to get them off you will need to lay the bike on its side and carefully with a hammer and drift tap on the back of the peg body.
