I just got my TC, and downloaded the app. I looked everywhere for the QR code so I could use the app, but to no avail. I contacted the dealership, and they informed me that the app is only meant for European markets, and isn't developed for North America. So, for anyone reading this thread and wondering, now you know.
@epitome the QR code is just used to get the app from the play store. There is a bar code in the back of my manual, sometimes under the box but most definitely on the side of the GPS/GPRS module labelled IMEI for the sim card they inserted. It gives unlimited data, I assume this sort of contract was too costly in America. You might want to check if the module has been installed or not. It's behind the left lower panel and blinks red, green and blue
