Is there a 4G module? 3G was disabled in germany by almost every provider

Basically what's in the title. My 3G module just stopped connecting. Or rather the app does not get anything from the server. At first I thought it's the server. (Which might be it as well) But then I saw that in the manual it says "3G/GPS Module"

So what do we do with our 3G ECUs?

Really

That is a pity.

You can install your own gps and battery and track your bike that way instead.

I do

I changed the SIM Card to one of my own (o2, 4G) and it's working again! Thanks for suggesting to swap the SIM Card.

The internal one is by a belgium provider called Proxima (I put the SIM into my smartphone to see if it can connect to any network and it couldn't).

So I guess the SIM Card (I have a 2020 modell) had a dataplan which could only up to 3G and this was disabled in germany.

Couldn't be the non paid dataplan since it showed that the card was valid until july 2023.

Are you saying you can track your bike with different SIM ? Avoiding the payment plan after year 2?

@lostit It appears so. It works for me. Since I have multiple SIMs in my contract I just used one of them. Maybe a normal prepaid SIM works too.
