The only way to derestrict my 6 month old TSX seems to be a rollback of the new firmware to the previous version, are there any UK dealers that can actually do this or is it just a myth..🤞

I'd like to know this too as I'd like to derestrict my CUX.  My dealer won't do it quoting the standard line "they don't like to do it nowadays because of insurance ramifications". I had some contact with a company based in London who said dealers need a box of tricks to be able to rollback the firmware, so it can defo be done.

Dealers don't usually do this

Maybe possible. I don't know so much about the CUX and if it can be or the way to derestrict it.

If I remember correctly

1: Go to your moped. Turn it on while the stand is down and having brake and throttle at maximum. HOLD for 10 seconds

2: Release the Throttle for 10 seconds keep holding the brake

3: Push the throttle to max again for 10 seconds and release and it should have changed to derestrict or restricted depending on which mode you had prior.

That's who I contacted 🙂 They are the ones that advise the dealer would need a box of tricks to roll the firmware back.

I have tried that trick several times with no joy I'm afraid.
