Hi to all!

I have a question. Let me explain you... I would like to fix a charger in my garage. I have no problem in charging the CPX along all night. Now it is difficult to find, and expensive, an original charger for the CPX. On the web I found this nice/cheap/small charger for the TS.

Aliexpress Supersoco TS charger

the 70.5 V version has the same connector (round pins) and voltage than my original charger. Is is supoosed to work with the TS, which has the same voltage (but lower amperage CPX 60V-45Ah and TS 60V-26Ah) battery. I have no problem in charging the bike at 4 Amps instead as 15 from the original charger. It will take longer but as I said is not an issue for me and it will be better for battery life. Do you think this charger is compatible with CPX? The charger takes information from the three small pins in the connector duringcharging?

Thanks from Spain... Javi

Hi Javi,

This will not work, because the round pins are much smaller than from a CPX. I used to have a tc and own a CPX right now.

They really improved the connectors I must say.

Thanks Ruben,

As I show that the 70.5 V version has cilindrical pins I thoungh the diameter was the same. It is a shame not to use it as it will charge batteries slower (as I told you the time is not an issue if you charge it during the night in the garage) and they are cheap/easy to find.

I could not see any CPX charger for buying online yet.

@javi

Hey Javi,

I totally agree with you. Btw what I did is I bought a connector to charge the cpx at a carcharging station. I found that also handy.

Greetings Ruben

Looks good idea, but here, in Spain, at least in my city there are only a few public chargers and the price for charging is not far from the petrol 🙁

If we found a small 70 V hcarger we can also integrate inthe bike itself 😉
