Hello guys,

I wanted to change handlebars on my TC today, but I was not able to remove the caps at the end of each side. It looks like there’s a plastic screw inside, but it does nothing. Can you advise?

Before dismantling my bike and making it unridable I have few more questions:

1) Do the claws on TC have positioning pin? Do I need to drill a hole in the new handlebars before reattaching the claws?

2) What type of grip is best for TC? Soft grip or hard grip?

Thanks & regards,

The caps are connected to the rubber grips and all pull off in one go once the black screws from the switch units have been removed.

Yes the original handle bar has holes to line up the brake levers or ‘claws’. I just used a dremal to grind off the locating pins on the black switch units ?? Good luck!

Would soft grips be good to absorb some of the road vibrations etc?
